This unit makes use of a 20-degree single-beam sonar that is optimized for coverage and precision bottom detail. This powerful system ultimately provides you with a reliable picture up to a depth of 800 feet, and with Real Time Sonar and Sonar Echo Enhancement you not only instantly capture the action under your boat, but get a target separation of as little as 2.5 inches and can track a small jig to over 40 feet. This unit's high-speed, micro-dynamic transducer is reliable up to 70 mph, and even includes water temperature and speed capability.

The 525 fish finder features a TripLog with distance, elapsed time, and average speed, totally automatic or manual operation depending upon your need at the time, and alarms for depth, fish, and battery. This unit also features a one-touch zoom with adjustable 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x zoom levels, and lets you select TruArch to show you actual sonar returns, or FishID+ with a target depth.
